Pricing questions

What counts as an active student?

A student who completes at least one lesson in the billing month. Students you've invited but who haven't started yet don't count toward your 30-student ceiling.

Can I try Pro Educator before committing?

Yes — 14-day free trial, no credit card required. You get the full Pro Educator toolkit including student assignments and progress reports from day one.

How does school pricing work in practice?

You pay per active teaching seat — not per student. A school with 40 teachers on the $15 tier pays $600/month. Students use the app at no extra cost to your school. Annual billing removes two months from the total.

What happens when my trial ends?

You keep all your student data and progress history. Free features (your directory listing, basic student messaging) stay active. Lesson assignment, progress reports, and CEFR dashboards pause until you subscribe.

Can I switch from tutor to school plan later?

Yes. Your account, student roster, and history carry over. Contact support and we'll move your billing to the school tier — no data migration needed.

What does the Founding Tutor badge mean?

The first 1,000 educators who activate Pro Educator get a permanent Founding Tutor badge on their directory profile and lock their rate for the first year even if we raise prices. No extra cost — it's a thank-you for being early.
